There are two ways to change the password of your Zerodha Kite account. One, if you remember the password and want to change it. Or two, if you have forgotten the password and want to reset it.

This article is about the first option of changing the password.

This means, you know your password, but for some reason, you want to change it to a new password.

Change Zerodha Password from Laptop or Desktop PC

  • Visit Kite.Zerodha.com.
  • Login using your User ID and Password.
  • You will find your User ID at the top-right corner. Click.
  • Then click on ‘My Profile’.
  • Just above your name, you will find the link ‘Password & Security’.
  • Enter your current password.
  • Then type your new password.
  • Type your new password once again to confirm.
  • Click Submit.
  • Done.

Change Zerodha Password from Mobile Phone:

Note: You cannot change your password from the Kite Mobile app.

Here’s how you can still change the password from your phone.

  • Open Google Chrome or any other browser on your phone.
  • Visit Kite.Zerodha.com.
  • Login using your User ID and Password.
  • You will find your User ID at the top-right corner. Click.
  • Then click on ‘My Profile / Settings’.
  • Tap on ‘Password & Security’
  • Enter your current password.
  • Then type your new password.
  • Type your new password once again to confirm.
  • Click Submit.
  • Done.
